The Issue: The vertical panel that features our "EYETESTS" sign also functions as a cupboard door to conceal our main security shutter. This panel is misaligned and will not close or lock properly. Due to the misalignment, it is rubbing against the frame, causing damage to the edge of the panel and preventing the locking mechanism from engaging. The Job: The task is to diagnose and repair the panel to ensure it closes flush and locks securely. The scope of work will involve: 1. Inspecting the panel, its hinges, and the locking mechanism. 2. Diagnosing the root cause of the misalignment (e.g., dropped/loose hinges, warped panel, issue with the lock). 3. Adjusting, re-securing, or replacing the hinges as necessary to ensure the panel hangs straight. 4. Repairing or adjusting the locking mechanism on the pillar and the receiving bracket on the door so they align and engage correctly. 5.
