I am needing a piece of timber don’t mind what it is not too expensive but need it cut into a circle 900x900 to fit on top of my outdoor glass table.

Looking for an experienced deck restoration / timber person to restore the hardwood decking around our pool in Buderim. Deck is approximately 45–50 m² including the main pool surround, raised entertaining area and steps. The existing decking is hardwood, believed to be Merbau/Kwila approximately 90 × 19 mm, although this should be confirmed onsite before replacement timber is purchased. Work required: * Thoroughly clean / deck-wash entire deck * Properly prepare existing timber for recoating * Sand back weathered, rough and damaged areas as required * Sand/prep the overall surface sufficiently to achieve an even finish * Replace approximately up to 5 damaged/rotted decking boards with matching hardwood timber * Check/fix any loose screws around repaired areas * Apply 2 coats of a quality exterior decking stain/oil * Include steps and exposed timber edges/fascia where appropriate * Protect pool, glass fencing, stone coping, walls and surrounding surfaces while working * Clean up and remove all sanding dust/waste on completion There are a few clearly damaged boards that need replacement rather than filling. Photos attached. I’m looking for someone who has proper deck sanding/restoration experience and the appropriate equipment, rather than just pressure washing and applying another coat over the existing finish. The deck is approximately 5m x 4m (20m²) and has become faded and weathered over time. I’m looking for someone who can restore it to a clean, well-presented condition and protect it from further weathering. Needing someone to repair horizontal palings in sections then a light sand and re-stain. Some pieces need replacing not all. All needs sanding & staining both sides. I’m flexible if you want to do a panel at a time.

We do have timber covered with 2mm aluminium sheet and I car just destroyed coming up the ramp. New sheet will need to be supplied I’ll need another one and probably you’ll need to cut a bit of excess on the one will be installed

I’ve recently had a panel lift/sectional garage door retrofitted to my garage in Carindale. Because the garage wasn’t originally set up for this type of door, there weren’t suitable fixing points in the ceiling where the installer needed to attach the overhead tracks/brackets. The garage door company is coming back to rectify the installation, but before they return I’d like suitable structural fixing points installed above the ceiling. There is good access to the roof/ceiling space via a manhole, with plenty of room to work. I’m looking for an experienced carpenter/framer who can assess the existing roof/ceiling framing and install appropriate timber blocking/noggins or other suitable structural framing at the required locations, so the garage door installer has solid fixing points for their brackets. I can provide photos and indicate where the garage door brackets/fixing points need to be located. Location: Carindale, QLD Timing: Ideally completed before the garage door company returns.
