Existing 60's buffet cabinet converted to storage for CD's and Bluray discs. Requires new custom drawers to left and right lower chambers and upper chamber to house CD's. New drawers to match existing drawers if possible. New hinges to allow doors to swing wide and facilitate access to drawers. All existing handles & fixtures to be retained. Cabinet(s) can be taken off premises for all works. Final surface-finish can be done by cabinet maker or myself. I will source replacement glass sliding doors for upper cabinet. Expand existing 45cm dishwasher slot to standard 60cm, and replace any impacted cabinetry as required. This is a new kitchen so I'm hoping to do so without removing the caesarstone countertop. I'm hoping to get advice on whether either option is possible and a quote that includes both labour and materials. The cabinetry is a white, smooth matte finish with an angled top edge for ease of access (no separate door handles). The budget is relatively flexible, pending final scope of job. Please reach out if you need more detail to quote or have other suggestions of how to expand the dishwasher slot. Option 1. Expand existing dishwasher slot to 60cm. Replace what's left of neighbouring cavity with drawer or cupboard. Option 2. Move dishwasher slot closer to sink (not under sink) and replace existing slot and what's left of neighbouring cavity with wider drawers or cupboard. More info: - The current slot is 45cm and requires 15cm to be taken from the neighbouring cabinet. - The neighbouring cabinet is approx. 91.5cm and has two doors that open into the same cavity. - The length of the countertop (except the part above the current dishwasher slot is glued to a wooden base. - The cavity is screwed to this wooden base from above (screws can’t be seen from inside the cavity). I'm hoping the cavity can be somehow disconnected from the wooden countertop base so the base stays glued to the countertop to hopefully avoid cracking the stone. Due date: Flexible
