The work may include: * Replacing the oven. * Replacing the heat-damaged panel above the oven. * Replacing the cabinet next to the oven * Replacing the adjacent drawers and any heat-damaged drawer fronts or drawer boxes. * Matching the existing cream cabinetry finish. * Checking the oven housing and ventilation requirements to prevent further heat damage. I’d like to retain the existing benchtop, cooktop and splashback and remaining kitchen cabinetry wherever possible. We need a reliable carpenter to have a look at our new kitchen cabinet that is waiting for the stone benchtop to be installed. It seems that the floating cabinet needs stronger support (maybe more L brackets?) and ensure that is all levelled. Sadly, our installer is not being able to come to fix it.

I have recently installed a new slide-out rangehood in an existing overhead kitchen cabinet. The existing two cabinet doors are now too long and block the rangehood’s pull-out tray/fascia. I need both doors shortened from the bottom so the rangehood can slide in and out freely. The two doors have already been removed, as shown in the photos. The work includes: * Dishwasher: Create an opening in the existing cabinetry to accommodate a freestanding dishwasher. * Microwave: Create an opening beneath the benchtop to accommodate a microwave, with one or two drawers installed underneath. * Kitchen island: Remove the small, lowered benchtop section from the island and leave a neat finish. * Under-sink cabinetry: Replace two damaged internal shelves beneath the sink. Timing: Ideally, we’d like all works completed before 19 October. However, the dishwasher opening is the priority and must be completed before this date, as tradespeople are scheduled to remove the existing floor coverings and sand the floorboards on 19 October. We’re looking for someone experienced in cabinetry modifications who can achieve a neat, professional finish while working with the existing kitchen. Looking for someone to repair two kitchen cabinet doors. One door has come completely off and needs to be reattached and aligned properly. The second door is still attached but is loose and needs the hinges tightened/adjusted. The hinge may require replacing as it’s torn/broken. The existing hinges are still there (see photos). 1. Kitchen Cabinet Door Repair (See photos) The screws for one of my kitchen cabinet hinges have ripped out of the white melamine/MDF board, leaving damaged/stripped holes. I need the damaged wood repaired and the hinge securely reattached to the board. Note: You only need to fix the hinge securely back onto the door/board itself. I can easily re-hang and affix the door back onto the kitchen cabinetry carcase myself once the hinge is firmly attached. 2. Bathroom Mirror Cabinet Adjustment I have a mirror cabinet in the bathroom where the door doesn't sit quite flush. Just need a quick alignment/adjustment of the existing hinges so the door closes completely flat and lines up properly.
