I need a carpenter who can help me install 4x timber slat panels on my bedroom wall (approx. 2m w x 2.3m h) preferably with screws so they can be removed if necessary. My concern is that we have a bathroom on the opposite side of the wall so there are plumbing fixtures running through here for sure (which is why I'm hesitant to DIY). Wanting an experienced tradesman who can confidently navigate this. There is also an old plumbing stack hidden by a box as indicated, so the panels will need to be cut around that to fit.

This involves building a floor to ceiling cabinet around some air-conditioning pipework, and attaching wall panels to the cabinetry. The cabinetry needs to have some level of accessibility so that the pipes can be checked.

I need a timber sleeper installed underneath the existing retaining wall. The sleeper is needed to close off the gap underneath the retaining wall so concrete can be poured up to the wall without spilling underneath. The ground slopes, so the sleeper will need to be cut to follow the slope/angle of the ground so it fits neatly into the gap. I haven’t measured the gap yet, so I’d like someone who can measure it, cut the timber to fit and install it securely. Timing: Needs to be completed before Tuesday. Photos attached.

Hi, I’m looking for a quote to supply and install one additional white shelf in an existing kitchen cabinet cavity above my fridge. The opening is approximately 900–920 mm wide x 300–350 mm deep. It doesn’t need to go all the way to the back wall, just to where the colour of the wall changes. I’d like the shelf to: * Be made from white melamine/MDF to match the existing cabinetry as closely as possible * Be approximately 16–18 mm thick * Span the full width of the existing opening * Have a finished/edged front edge so there are no raw MDF/melamine edges visible * Be installed securely between the existing cabinet sides * Have concealed or discreet supports, so the finished result looks like it was part of the original cabinetry Could you please provide a supply and installation price, including materials, cutting/edging, hardware and labour? 150 cm x 15 cm kickboard to be replaced in kitchen

Hello, We are looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter to repair water-damaged timber skirting board and the lower section of a timber door frame/jamb. The original water leak has already been repaired, so there is no ongoing water issue. As shown in the photos, there is some deterioration/rot and damage to the timber around the bottom of the door frame and adjacent skirting board. We are looking for someone to: • Assess the extent of the damaged timber • Remove any damaged/rotted sections as required • Repair or replace the affected timber/skirting • Ensure the repaired area is solid, neat and properly finished • Sand, fill and prepare the area for painting • Repaint the repaired sections so they blend in with the existing door frame/skirting We are after a quality, neat finish, as this is inside our home and we are preparing the property for sale. Timing: We need the job completed by Wednesday 26th August. We work from home most days, so there is some flexibility around the day/time and we can generally provide access during business hours. We are finishing installing our ikea kitchen cabinets, we are looking for a cabinet maker to help plane the cover panel pieces and to assist with planeing kickboards. We have 2 x internal pieces and 2 end pieces and a backing for the island along with kickboard. Ideally either Friday 7th or Saturday 8th.

Replace 3 Sets of French Doors Looking for a licensed carpenter/chippy to replace 3 sets of existing timber French doors, including the door frames. Scope of works: Remove and dispose of existing timber French doors and frames. Install 3 new double French door sets, including new frames. Ensure doors are level, square and operate smoothly. Fit existing/new hardware as required (can discuss). Finish with neat trims/architraves if required. Current opening: Approx. 1140mm (W) x 2100mm (H) Preferred new opening: Approx. 1300mm (W) x 2100mm (H), so the opening will need to be widened by around 160mm (subject to inspection and feasibility).
