Hi ! I work for a family run builder, we had an insurance claim appointed to us but we need a qualified cabinet maker (QBCC LICENCE). The job is in Moggill. There are 4 x vinyl cabinets that need to be replaced (supplied an fitted) asap. It was a fire damage claim. I’m looking for someone to create a custom floor to ceiling single hinge door cabinet with a few shelves inside for a bathroom, and a matching simple long benchtop (no drawers, just a wood slab which would look floating). I would really love to recycle wood, it would also create the kind of rustic vibe I’m going for. A medium/dark brown (like your walnuts) is ideal for me, but I know this can be achieved with wood stains. I’ve uploaded some examples of what I’m looking to do. I replaced my ice machine and the new one was wider than expected, it is about 4mm too wide for the cabinet that is intended to house it. I need the cabinet modified to fit it... it *appears* as though there is a fillet panel between the carcases that can possibly be removed which would allow more than enough room, but... I'm not cabinet maker so, I don't know how to do this and don't want to just start tearing my cabinets apart. Hope you can help.

We have just moved into a new house which has the fridge in behind cabinet doors. We have removed the doors as we want to buy a new fridge with water and ie capability- plumber being organised to instal water connectivity. We need to explore some options and need some advice on how to proceed, then to go ahead. The fridge we are looking at has the feet at the front so we could go one of 2 ways — 1) remove the raised section entirely (our preference) so that the fridge sits on the main floor and can be on floor level (not raised), or 2) a section built out at the same height to enable the feet of the fridge to sit out which enables the fridge door to be opened fully. Another complication is there is an internal board the if removed would free up more space (+c20mm) which may enable us to get the bigger fridge. Before we know which fridge to order we need to know what size gap we can work with and which of the various options are viable or not. Best course might be for someone to attend and then we can make a call based on what’s viable. The internal panels are just screwed into the outer ones so should be able to be taken out which frees up roughly another 20mm. More photos below outlining the issue - Due date: Flexible
