G'day all, I'm looking for a cabinet maker to help me with a small kitchen project. What I'm needing is a cabinet box made up and fitted above our fridge in the kitchen. We have the doors and shelves, but for some reason.. the cabinet box has gone missing ( dont ask haha). Of course the job will need to be measured up, box made, and box fitted, which I'm happy to help with if required. Repost for Carpenter /experienced handyman - my fridge is too tall for kitchen cabinetry so I need the small upper unit removed to give approx 5cm needed height. Then using the timber base from that unit install one shelf in the space that I can use for cookbooks etc.

The work involves checking all base cabinets to make sure they are level, square and structurally ready for 20mm stone installation. It also requires confirming that the overhead cabinets are properly fixed into studs and reinforcing them if needed. Some doors, drawers and panels need realignment so the kitchen is safe, stable and compliant before the benchtop is remeasured. This is not a job for a handyman. We have 6 cupboards that are "push to open" that need fixing. Either springs are missing, or they aren't opening or staying closed properly.

It currently sits on a diagonal angle and I want it dismantled and moved so that it is parallel to the back cabinets with the oven where the tape has been marked on the floor. They move noticeably, close unevenly, and do not sit flush. - Drawers: The internal drawers do not close properly, requiring staff to use makeshift fixes to keep them shut. This likely points to an issue with the drawer runners/sliders. We need to fix only one drawer and one cupboard door. The measurements of the drawer are L 40.7 cm x W 42.7 cm x H 18.9 cm.
