Looking to have cabinetry & shelves for a feature tv wall with place for electric fire place.

I’m looking for a carpentry or cabinet-making apprentice, ideally someone in their later years of training or recently qualified, who would be interested in taking on a feature-wall project and adding a great finished piece to their portfolio. The project is to build a custom TV feature wall in my new home in Henley Brook. The wall is approximately 5270mm wide x 2910mm high and the design will include: • Centre space for a 98” wall-mounted TV • Electric fireplace positioned underneath the TV • Built-in shelving/display niches on both sides • LED strip lighting incorporated into the shelving • Lower cabinetry/storage on both sides • White gloss finish • Clean, modern and symmetrical overall look I have attached a visual of the design I’m trying to achieve. It is intended as a design guide rather than an exact construction drawing, so I’m happy to work through the finer details with you. I will purchase and provide the materials, so I’m mainly looking for your skills and labour. I’m also very happy to be hands-on and help throughout the build wherever I can. This could be a good opportunity for an apprentice who is confident with their skills and wants to tackle a substantial project independently, gain additional hands-on experience and have a high-impact finished project for their portfolio. I’m not expecting free labour, please quote your labour cost based on the project. This would be approx 1 days work for a cabinet maker. Ideally to be done Friday 28th or Monday 31st. The walls in 3 bedrooms have been plaster sheeted so 3 robe doors do not fit back on and/or open properly when on. The task is to reattach/hinge them on so they open/close as normal and potentially trim one door down (the 3 robes are slightly different). Estimate $700. Happy to agree on an hourly rate too. Finalising a bathroom renovation and have had a fairly cheap matt white floating vanity made to fit a pre bought vanity top. Unfortunately a few measurements were off and the plumbing which was installed yesterday means one drawer now does not fit in and there is not a lot of usage space. Would love an experienced cabinet maker/carpenter to come out and take a look to see if there are options to: Shave the side of the draw so that it does fit. If this is this case would also like higher quality or another set of runners installed as the drawers are not very smooth to open. Or remove the top draw option and replace with shelf and door. Or remove both draws and replace with door if easier. Now the plumbing is in I would also like a shelf on the right hand side to maximise usage space. Will need one more shelf of the same type in the laundry cupboard. Everything is in Matt white. Located in St James.

Looking for an experienced cabinet maker or carpenter to replace water-damaged internal cabinet boxes (carcasses) under a double kitchen sink. The exterior doors, handles, benchtop, and surrounding cabinets are intact and will be reused. Measurements: Width including the carcass as shown in photos is about 997–1000 mm. Height as measured in the photo is about 727–730 mm. Depth as measured in the photo is 557–560 mm. Scope of Work: Measure & Fabricate: Supply and build new internal cabinet carcasses using High Moisture Resistant (HMR) board/melamine to fit the existing space. Open back cabinets are acceptable. Removal: Safely remove damaged particleboard sections (under-sink floor, damaged middle shelf, lower drawer box area, and center support mullion) without disturbing the benchtop or sink. Installation: Fit the new HMR cabinet box/shelving, including neat cutouts for existing plumbing pipes (drainage pipe and water inlet lines). Reattach: Re-hang existing white cabinet doors, align hinges, and re-fit the bottom drawer runner/front. Damage Details (See Photos): Water damage from a previous leak has caused the particleboard base, middle shelf, and center support post to swell, split, and crumble. 3 internal lower sections and 1 bottom left drawer space need rebuild/re-boxing.

Hello, I'm looking for someone with experience in cabinetry, built-in wardrobes or joinery to finish an IKEA PAX wardrobe install to make it appear built in and a tidy finish. Scope of works 1. Install infill/filler panels • Fill the gaps between the wardrobe and the side walls with 16mm MR MDF. • Scribe the panels to the walls where required so everything sits flush. • Ideally use moisture-resistant MDF or similar ready for painting. 2. Install a kicker/plinth board • Cover the existing timber base with a neat kicker/plinth with either 16 or 18mm with 16mm MR MDF. • Continue the plinth across the full width so it appears built in. • Minimise visible joins. 3. Finishing • Light sand and prime final cut and fitted pieces • Colour match GRIMO door at Dulux trade centre • Ideally, paint with low sheen Dulux Aquanamel and using high-density foam roller to achieve sprayed-looking texture • Finish neatly against the existing skirting boards and also IKEA base (may require some filling of gaps above plinth / kicker) • Caulk as required. Notes • Wardrobe is already fully assembled and secured. • Photos attached showing the areas to finish. Please only apply if you've completed similar built-in wardrobe or cabinetry work. I have 2 wardrobe recesses. 1 master and 1 small recess. For now I just need a hanging shelf in both. White 20ml thick shelf? with pine wood supports underneath and a heavy duty silver pole. I will pay for materials extra. Other work available 😊
