I need to put a larger washing machine and dryer in my laundry and need the cabinets cut down. Need some who is familiar with cabinet making and does a tidy job as this is a new home. Bench top will also need to be cut down as the wider dryer sits on top of a bigger Washer than what is in the photo. It is a Speed Queen

Quote requests: budget isn’t set. Looking for someone experienced in timber/furniture restoration to repair and minimise visible scratches on an internal timber staircase. There are multiple light/fine surface scratches across several stair treads, with a few more noticeable/deeper scratches, predominantly on the lower stairs. Photos attached showing the condition in natural light. I’m looking for the scratches to be blended/repaired as neatly as possible while maintaining the existing timber colour and finish. Ideally looking for someone experienced with colour matching and spot repairs so the whole staircase does not need to be completely refinished if this can be avoided. We’re looking for an experienced carpenter or handyman to properly seal several external openings around newly installed doors and windows at our home in Witta. As shown in the photos, there are exposed gaps/cavities above several sliding doors/windows and around a new front door that need to be properly closed and sealed. The job needs to include: * Closing exposed framing and cavities with appropriate exterior-grade materials * Sealing against water, drafts, insects, geckos, rodents and snakes * Installing appropriate flashing and/or vermin-proof mesh where required * Sealing around the new front door frame, including the larger side and top gaps * Ensuring any necessary drainage/ventilation isn’t blocked * Neatly finishing all areas so there is no exposed timber, insulation or open cavities * Ideally making the finished areas look as though they were always part of the house We do not want the gaps simply filled with expanding foam. We’re looking for someone who understands exterior building/weatherproofing and can complete the job properly. All areas are easily accessible from ground level/verandah.

Hello, We are looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter to repair water-damaged timber skirting board and the lower section of a timber door frame/jamb. The original water leak has already been repaired, so there is no ongoing water issue. As shown in the photos, there is some deterioration/rot and damage to the timber around the bottom of the door frame and adjacent skirting board. We are looking for someone to: • Assess the extent of the damaged timber • Remove any damaged/rotted sections as required • Repair or replace the affected timber/skirting • Ensure the repaired area is solid, neat and properly finished • Sand, fill and prepare the area for painting • Repaint the repaired sections so they blend in with the existing door frame/skirting We are after a quality, neat finish, as this is inside our home and we are preparing the property for sale. (battens, timber framing, sisalation paper and Sikaflex) Details include: turning the internal beam upside down - assessing and correcting the leak in the roof identified (replace ply or Sellys- to be determined) - making the outside sound before cladding - battens to fix iron to - installation of supplied iron - custom flashings for corners - sealing holes in the iron - internal door stops to block weather.
