Tidying up an old laminate kitchen(2x3m): 1. Fitting a new tall pantry - (currently flat packed in box), to replace the under-bench cupboard in the 3rd photo (the benchtop over all the cupboards is being removed, then remove the double door cupboard and instal the new upright pantry in its place). 2. Fitting a new timber benchtop in place of the existing brown laminate one.. 3. Trimming an inch off the base of the 7 laminated cupboard doors (they're swollen at the base) and edging with timber (same as another chippie did, shown in photo on a white cupboard shelf). Plus outside, adding some timber panel/edging to cover chipped fibrecement wall cladding.

A major downpour revealed a roof leak that had slowly been causing damage inside a wall. The roof has been repaired, and the ceiling and wall treated and dried out. About 15cm of the top horizontal beam is rotten and the cross beam under it as well (easily replaced), and down at the bottom corner the vertical load-bearing stud has some rot although def isn't rotten through. Its an old fibre house; just want it safe before replastering. Have no idea re budget - am after quotes so pls ignore the $.
