Hi, Looking for a handyman/carpenter to trim the bottom of an internal door by approx. 5–10mm to increase clearance. The issue is caused by aircon pressure (room becomes negative pressure when door is closed). The goal is to improve airflow. Scope: - Remove door - Trim bottom neatly - Reinstall and ensure smooth operation Note: If the initial trim does not resolve the issue (i.e. clearance still not enough), a second trim may be required. I require the removal of existing handrails and the supply and installation of four new, highly stable handrails for either side of two sets of outdoor steps (five steps per set). The current rails are screwed directly into the steps and are unstable. The new rails must be set into concrete (either core-drilled into existing substrate or set in new concrete footings) to ensure they are solid and do not rely on screws into brick. Specifications: Height: The top of the handrail must be between 865mm and 1000mm measured vertically from the stair nosing. The height must be consistent throughout the flight. Grip: The handrail must have a circular cross-section with an external diameter of 30mm to 50mm to allow for a full "power grip." Continuity: The rail should, where possible, extend at least one tread depth beyond the top and bottom risers. Scope of work: Remove 4x existing timber handrails fixed to brick. Supply and install 4x new handrails (Treated Timber or Galvanised/Powder-coated Metal). Anchor all posts directly into concrete for maximum stability. Ensure all surfaces where old rails were removed are left neat, flush, and safe. Requirements for Applicants: You must have experience with structural handrail installations. Please provide photos of previous work with an address of a prior installation in the local (Randwick council) area that I can drive to inspect the quality and stability. Tools: bring your own.
