Summary: Carpenter required to frame and install internal bedroom door to existing 1205mm opening. Opening currently has no door frame or jamb. Scope includes framing/infill, door jamb installation, hanging door, architraves and making ready for paint. Please provide examples of previous door/frame installations. We are converting a living room into a bedroom, so we need a door frames up and installed across a hallway. A drawing is attached to help explain what we need. Then a plain white door and hardware to be installed to match others. Nothing is load bearing. Existing walls are framed gyprock. Ceiling height is pretty standard. I need it fully installed and finished at least up to hardware on, all joins filled and sealed to meet the existing walls neatly. I can paint it as long as the prep is done. I am open to suggestions about exactly how to fill the space beyond the door and standard framing to give a clean, professional finish. I am assuming it needs to be gyprocked, but if there is a better way let me know. Only people with relevant experience and insurance please.
