Hi there are two broken doors in the apartment that we need fixed! (1) in the bathroom the door handle is broken( a screw seems to have come off) and (2) in the kitchen the hinge of a swing open door appears to also be broken. Please advise time & cost of these repairs. Thank you!

Sliding doors not rolling open

Bolts has fallen out of custom made steel folding doors - need handy man with experience of folding doors to insert bolts and align door frames. Additional info: 2x 4 panel folding steel doors. I need a clock hung up on a wall and another painting hung on another wall. I also have a door that has lost its catch (see photo) that I need replaced.

Each of six doors need shortening to accommodate a new carpet. Each door to be taken off its hinges and shortened at the base by 20mm then refitted to the existing hinges. This work can be carried out on the balcony (see image) or taken down to the basement in the lift and the work be completed there. The two doors to the linen closet are a polyurethane finish, all others are stained or painted and will be repainted after this work has been completed.

We currently have horizontal wooden plantation shutters on 2 bathroom windows. We want to remove the shutters, and apply frosted contact paper to the panes. You'll need to have perfect attention to detail with the scalpel to cut and apply the rectangles of contact. The intructions on the contact paper say you'll need a squirt bottle with soap water. I have the scalpel and the contact paper already. I think a general handy person can do this job. Please note there are TWO windows, even though I have 1 picture here. They are the same.

DOOR REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENT: I estimate that this is up to a week of work in separate visits to a Rose Bay apartment, so no fixed price is really possible. I’ve put in a budgetary price based on an expected hourly rate plus materials which may be extra. 1. The front door needs to be shortened on-site by 10mm, prior to fitting a new carpet in early March. 2. Six other internal doors need replacing with new doors as the current ones are poor quality, ‘hollow’ doors (note the cheap ‘ribbing’ effect in the attached image). Following delivery of these doors they will need to be fitted either before or after a new carpet has been supplied and installed by others. These doors with the same ‘pattern’ (see image) will be painted by others. 3. Repair or replace a metal door between the balcony and kitchen that 'catches' against the door frame. Note that the handle is corroded and needs replacing on both sides. Please measure up and consult on what to order. 4. Fix a fly-screen door where the wheel is worn out and is difficult to remove. If it can’t be repaired a new fly-screen door may be required. I believe this task needs a registered carpenter or builder with experience of this type of work. It is NOT that the cheapest bid wins this work. It’s about experience and hopefully some references to support your offer.
