We have an internal door that no longer closes properly — likely due to slight movement in the house and/or a latch issue. From what I can tell: - The door seems slightly misaligned in the frame (may need planing/sanding or hinge adjustment) - The latch/strike plate may not be lining up properly - The handle itself might also need attention (happy to replace internal mechanism if required, but would like to keep the existing handles) Looking for someone who can: - Adjust hinges and/or sand the door if needed - Realign latch/strike plate - Replace internal latch mechanism if faulty (I can cover cost of parts if needed) NOTE: This functional fix only - it doesn’t need to be a perfect cosmetic finish. If any sanding is required, that’s completely fine and doesn’t need repainting or detailed finishing. We’ll be renovating in the future, so priority is just getting the door to close properly. I need a door switched from having hinges on one side to the other. We have the light switch in an annoying place (behind the door as it opens) and would love it reversed.

Upstairs on the second floor in the back bedroom, the door that leads to the balcony has a faulty doorknob. The latch is not engaging or releasing properly, so the door cannot be opened. This will need to be repaired so the door can open normally. Additionally, on the ground floor bathroom next to the kitchen, the door handle has fallen off and appears to have snapped. The handle will need to be replaced.

Our front door is getting harder and harder to close and I need someone to fix it. It is rubbing above door lock (see photos), and seems to be slightly off kilter. I'm not sure of the best solution, but I guess it could be fixed by sanding the door or frame, or hanging. See attached photos.

We will need someone to install a door handle+ provide a key . We had to remove the old hardware to take to our new place, but will have to give a suitable replacement for our end of lease make-good

Reseal doors to block noise and dust by cleaning the frame, replacing old weather stripping with adhesive rubber seals and installing a draft stopper or door sweep at the bottom to ensure no gap

Door handle has come loose and whatever I try to do, I can’t get it to sit back flush. Need someone with experience. Should take 5 mins.

Door latch / lock has partially come off the door. Needs a handyman to replace screws and reattach. Functioning fine just come off door.

The cement and stone seems to be chipped away exposing the door way to water. I want to fill and gap seal door way and above the door also

I have 3 doors (6 hinges total) that need to be screwed back into place. Most will go into wood, apart from one hinge that will go into concrete. Please note that I broke a drill bit in one of the screw holes. Also, I would like some assistance unswrewing a light fitting where the bulb inside has died, so I can replace the bulb. As a bonus, I would like some advice on whether it is possible to drill a hole in a thick concrete slab to allow for an electricity plug to fit through.
