Changing over our old kaboodle cabinet doors to new kaboodle cabinet doors

Have tried to hot glue wood pieces however due to having a one year-old puppy he keeps chewing into the wood , the puppies only small Maltese terrier type so the solution doesn’t need to go all the way up to the top of the door probably just halfway . As I have stuck a foam piece on the top section and that seems to do the job . we need a solution thanks.. 🙏

Cut a whole in interior door and insert cat door. We have the cat door here ready do go with instructions. Door is hollow.

To install a Bunnings DIY sliding door which requires drilling screws as it is lockable. The door needs to be installed and connected to the sliding glass door.. also need tradesperson to puppy proof the side gate as there is a gap which the puppy can escape from . Possibly a wood or metal panel screwed into the bottom of the gate.
