I have a Lockwood lock installed on a double door. The door has moved out of alignment and the hinge pin appears to be bent or damaged. The lock still engages, but the door now sits off by about 2mm along the length, so the latch/tongue isn’t lining up cleanly with the adjacent door. I’m looking for an experienced tradesperson (carpenter / locksmith / handyman with door alignment experience) who can properly fix the issue — whether that’s adjusting or replacing hinges, packing, or another appropriate solution — so the door closes flush and remains secure. Additional requirements: Please come prepared with appropriate hardware to fix the door Be prepared to replace the door lock if required If needed, we can go to Bunnings together to source parts All work must be completed on the same day Important notes: I’m not looking for test-and-learn, inspections only, or someone to “come and see what might be possible” I’m not interested in a large exploratory quote I need someone who can diagnose and fix this properly on the day Security is critical — the door must not be left in a compromised or partially fixed state at any point Please only apply if you have solid experience with door alignment and locks and can deliver a quality, permanent fix.

I have a sliding door that no longer slides because the mechanism appears to be broken. . Take off sliding door . Remove broken slider mechanism . Supply and fit new slider . Rehang the door In addition a drawer underneath my stove has come off it's rails and needs to be repaired. I don't have any images that would add to what I have described above. P.S. I will add some photos tomorrow when I get them from my daughter.
