My house shifted and the latch bolts no longer line up with the striker plate positions on my front door. I need someone to extend the striker plate holes, install new striker plates, and make sure wood door and security screen now close correctly.

Look for experienced handyman with to help reverse opening direction of two old bedroom doors. (I still want them opening in to the bedrooms, but want them hinged on the opposite side). Each door currently swings in the wrong direction for the room layout. The requirement is to re-hang both doors so they open in the opposite direction while maintaining a clean, finished appearance consistent with the rest of the house. Scope of work: • Removing each door from its current hinges • Reversing or replacing hinges as required • Relocating hinge rebates in the door jamb • Re-cutting latch and strike plate positions so doors close and latch correctly • Ensuring door alignment, clearances, and swing are correct and smooth • Making good any minor damage to the frame or door caused by the change (e.g. filling old hinge or strike recesses) Would prefer the work was done over the next few days. One hinge may need to be replaced (I'll pay for this and can go to Bunnings to grab a replacement while you work on the other door, or can pay you if you have any spares lying around).
