Hi, I’m looking for someone to urgently install a privacy lock or handle set on an internal bedroom door with a narrow architrave. The job is located in Currumbin Waters, and I can be there to provide access tomorrow (Wednesday) between 11 AM and 2 PM or Thursday morning before 11 AM. The lock needs to be installed as part of a home safety plan. The door hardware may need to be replaced entirely with a unit that includes a built-in lock (like an Ikonic turnsnib). I have photos and product examples to guide the install. Please let me know your availability and rates ASAP – looking to have this completed before Friday. This job will be paid by invoice.

Hi there, help needed from a handy-person as I tried myself and truly believe I am much better at other tasks LOL Hence this needs to be outsourced I have a lovely tenant in the Studio downstairs. During the Cyclone, the inside of the door-handle fell off. Who can help me re-attach it? (Align it and screw it back in. In case it doesn't align, I also have bog as a back up if we need to try again. SO I have everything we need and only need someone for 15min to screw it back in [Plan B, if we need to use the bog - it only takes 30min to dry. So we should be able to finish it all in less than 1hr) I am flying to NZ tomorrow night (Tuesday 15/04) and ideally I am here to help. New carpet has gone in and 3 doors need the bottoms trimmed so the doors can operate without rubbing on the carpet. Requires taking doors off and putting back up once trimmed maybe 10mm
