We are seeking a carpenter to supply and install a Bi-fold sliding door at Eastbank Ave, Collaroy. The opening of the door is 1440mm wide (approx.), and 2055mm high (approx.). The optimal solution is a bi-fold sliding door with multiple panels, with a tracking system and hinges, so it folds as it opens. The specifications are as follows: • The door needs to stack on the south eastern side (allowing maximum north eastern views when it’s open). • It appears that three (3) panels are optimal, however we are happy to be guided by the carpenter if there is a better option. • We have considered a sliding barn door (and got a quote from Hume Doors), however this will be bulky and have a detrimental impact on views. We think the sliding door will be much more effective. Once interest is ascertained, I will send through a full project brief with pictures and details.
