The door and frame are in good condition with no major damage. I do not need replacement or major repair. I mainly want to bring back the timber colour and make the entrance look fresh again. Job requirements: - Clean out any loose debris, dirt, old mortar - Brush out dust (wire brush or stiff brush works well) -Use compressed air or a vacuum to get deeper debris out, ensure dry surface. - Fill gap with expanding foam (low-expansion type). - Trim foam once cured. - Install backer rod. - Apply exterior-grade polyurethane or MS polymer sealant. - Finish with smooth, weather-resistant seal, for clean appearance and proper insulation. Looking for someone with experience in this type of repair who has the proper materials and can ensure a professional finish. The gap is quite deep so expanding foam will be necessary before final sealing. Please provide quote including materials. Photos don’t capture how cavernous the gap is, but it was enough for 3 spiders to call it home and I’d like to avoid that situation from re-occurring.
