Assess ballustrade for possible replacement or resetting, especially around the pads and their connection to the deck. Repair some broken tiles and/or correct any grouting problems. Deck has been leaking and I plan to install a clear membrane once the ballustrade and tiles are resolved. I understand this is tricky to quote, so happy to agree on a an hourly rate plus materials.

Verandah will be roughly 4 x 9 metres.

the floor boards of the verandah require a new cost of paint or protection varnish to maintain the boards, facilitate cleaning and improve appearance. Measurements and photos can be provided on request.

The verandah to be repainted and a few walls in the house touched up.

Painting the verandah ceiling

Light sand of an exterior verandah in preparation for restaining. 27sqm. Some evidence of old water based stain. Nails already punched. Hardwood timber in good condition.

Our front verandah needs some TLC. The area is approximately 2.5 x 5 metres. The area had thick outdoor tiles from the 70's that I had to jack hammer out. I managed to retain half the concrete that was underneath. I am looking to have exposed aggregate or permeable stone be applied to that area - Open to suggestions. I want to also have that applied to the steps too. Half the verandah has a concrete slab while the other half was destroyed from the Jack hammering. See attached photos. Let me know what you think

Verandah The floor Tiles have been removed, we need to prepare the verandah for water-proofing, the current/old water-proof seal needs to be ground off the 20mm cement sheet 48sqm area ASAP before the new water-proof seal can be painted on.

There is a bit of rotting of the weatherboard timber as seen on photos which needs to be filled and sealed or cut away and replaced.

We just need someone who has a step ladder at least 2.4m height to help us to fit 4 existing downlights back to the ceiling - plug and play direct to the socket -nothing else - this can be done by either today or tomorrow - 10 minutes job for those who got ladder and live close to us - Brighton East

There are 4 sheets of polycarbonate roofing that have cracked, and need replacing as they are leaking. The tin roofing sheets are fine. - Due date: Before Saturday, 9 March 2024

Front veranda post has rotten at the base. Base needs to be cut off on an angle and attached to an existing Pin on the tile floor. Will require two acro props and power saw to cut off the rotted section of a 115 mm post and replace . - Due date: Flexible
