Hi, I’m looking for someone to give me a quote to turn two existing wardrobes into one walk‑in wardrobe. I’ve attached the floor plan with the red‑highlighted area. The Master Bedroom and Bedroom 2 both have built‑in robes at the moment, and there is already an opening/doorway at the spot marked “C” on the plan. I want to use that existing door as the entry into the new walk‑in. The job is basically: • Remove the internal walls between the two robes • Combine the whole red‑highlighted section into one walk‑in wardrobe • Access will be from the Master Bedroom • Patch and make good after removing the walls • Optional: quote for adding a light inside the new walk‑in • Optional: quote for wardrobe fit‑out if you provide that service Please have a look at the attached picture for reference. Wall section to reinstate is 3.5m long x 1.3m high. The plasterboard was removed from a brick/masonry wall. The wall-to-slab joint at the base has been pressure-injected with waterproofing membrane. The brick face has been coated with membrane paint. The area is now dry and stable. Scope required: Reinstate the wall to the original finished line. Do not bring the wall forward or box it out. The original plasterboard sat about 25mm off the brick. Install a low-profile fixing support (thin battens or furring channels) fixed to the masonry where appropriate. No drilling or fixings through the injected waterproofed base joint at the slab. Keep the bottom edge of the new sheet 10 to 15mm above the slab so it does not touch the floor. If any mechanical fixings must go through the membrane-painted brick, each fixing point must be sealed so the waterproofing remains continuous. This means sealant in the drilled hole before the fixing goes in, seal around the head, then touch up with membrane paint. Supply and install moisture resistant plasterboard. If you recommend fibre cement instead, please explain why. Tape and set joints, then sand to a paint-ready finish. Clean up and remove all rubbish. Quoting: Please include materials and labour. Please confirm your proposed fixing method. I do not want an adhesive-only dot-and-dab plasterboard install directly onto the membrane-painted brick.

Water leak has damaged interior garage Gyprock ceiling. Remove and replace approximately 1.5 sheets of Gyprock and approximately 5.5m of cornice. Remove or work around ceiling light. I can assist with the job if needed. No painting required Preferably not needing to remove garage door, should be enough space above door to work around it. No idea how much to price this at.

I have an investment property with front and back balcony. Due to the age of the house, the height of both balcony balustrades is less than current requirement 1000mm, about 100mm short. Would like to invite talented handyman to work out a feasible solution - to extend the balustrades to satisfactory height (>1000mm). Prefer to keep the existing balustrades (minor modification is fine). Maybe just a new handrail above it? Please see attached photos for reference. Happy to discuss further. Thanks!
