We had bathroom renovators leave an unfinished job, so we are in the process of fixing some of the work. They used a wood for the cornice whereas previously we had the simple curved cornice plaster. We want this returned back to this. Need a experience labourer to replace. Bathroom is around 3m x 4m - Tiling and Ceiling is fine - just the cornice work. Dont require painting - need a clean and professional finish. Budget for labour only, if you can get cheaper materials directly instead of bunnings, can add.

Plaster replacement on a wall where the existing plaster is damaged. Cornice installation on existing wall (but plastering was very rough). There is a small notch / edge in the wall that needs to remain the cornice here will be a bit more complex. Total cornice length is about 6m. We have 3m of cornice on site, AirTasker to provide the rest. Main section of plaster replacement is about 1900mm by 900mm, with two small sections each about 700 by 600. Rough in for electrical is complete, so plaster to be cut to fit around this. There is plywood bracing behind the 1900mm by 900 mm so this main section will need to be removed carefully from ontop of the bracing without damaging it. While we have 3m of cornice, we don't have any plasterboard spare. In addition to the kitchen area there is a small repair job required in a bedroom. Two strips on the wall and roof. Wall strips are each 90mm wide and 2.4m high, roof is 250mm wide and about 3m long in total.

Need our new front wall rendered in a textured white. Most of the hard work has been done, just need the new blocks and top coat down the bottom completed. The new blocks are approx 10m x 1.2m high and need the single course of blocks around the breeze blocks also done.

Looking for 1 or 2 people who have experience in abseiling, climbing, and working at heights to work on residential yard. 10m high x 4m wide section of bank, 45-90 degree slope. Job is to: (1) remove 2 old tarps from bank (marked purple in photo). (2) assess/reattach 1 tarp, at top if eyelets, or remove (orange) (3) old tarps, sandbags, ropes etc, to be gathered up and driven to top of property (if you don’t have a van/ute etc advise when making an offer). Steel house stumps can be used to anchor, top of bank is flat and concreted. Bank is stable and there has been no movement in 3 years. Sandbags, rope, tent pegs, etc. for tarps will be provided. You will need to provide all safety and abseiling equipment. Could be suitable for labourer, handyman, or tradesman with working at heights experience. Payment can be hourly, fixed rate, or a combination. Flexible timing, ideally completed asap but within the next month. If interested, let me know if you are providing 1 or 2 people, if you have a vehicle to drive between top/bottom of property, and your preferred timing.

Cut the ends of cables (2 ends of 10 cables = 20 total cuts), replace end screws with more robust anchoring to allow for appropriate tension, such as Jaw/Swage Turnbuckle Rigging Screws with end Terminals and stainless steel eye screws. Wire is 3.2mm 7x7. Timber posts. You can see in the attached photo that two of the end screws have come out, so we've decided it makes sense to replace all the ends of the horizontal cables, as well as the ones next to the staircase.

I need you assemble an outdoor sauna for our customer. It takes 2 people 1 -2 hours max. The sauna is flat packed. Only a few screws required on the roof and a rubber mallet to knock the walls into place. Everything slots in together. There may be more work for the right person. Looking for a handyman, tradesman, or labourer who has experience in rope/knot skills and abseiling, climbing or working at heights experience for the following. - Tie rope around 12 sandbags into something like a parcel knot to hold securely. - Secure 3 tarps to the ground and bank (either through pegs in the ground, or securing to a fence, the latter will be done while on the bank). - Attach 12 sandbags to 12 tarp eyelets in the 3 tarps. Some will need to be attached while on the bank. - Securely tie 4 separate ropes around steel house stumps, each rope will be approx 10-20m in length. The tarp work is to replace existing tarp/sandbags installed earlier this year. Work will be done on a flat back garden area and on the bank, so the sandbags must be very well secured. I will be onsite and will supply the tarp, sandbags (BCC), pegs, and rope. Any other materials needed, to be discussed. Person must have rope/knot experience and working at heights experience. Task can be completed morning or afternoon, week days or week ends, preferable as soon as possible. Not sure how long this would take, so price accordingly for the job. - Due date: Flexible
