The current roof sheets are attached to the gutters with silicon. I'd like to the new ones linked to the gutters with "channel flashing" as per the installation guidelines by the manufacturer.

I need to remove and replace a single damaged broken roof tile on a two storey house as well as maybe inspect for other broken tiles. The property is an older property, so I believe the roof tile might be nailed down? I have tried lifting the surrounding roof tile to pull out the broken one with no luck.
