I’m seeking an experienced plasterer (or high-quality handyman) to properly plaster and paint a small internal wall section in an older / period home. This is not a quick patch or cosmetic skim — I’m looking for a durable, well-finished result that will last. Details: • Location: Internal hallway of an older home • Area size: Approx. 185cm high x 70cm wide • Surface: Original exposed brickwork (see photo) Scope of works: • Proper assessment and preparation of existing brick masonry • Use of appropriate materials for older walls (no shortcuts or filler-only fixes) • Plaster/render to achieve a straight, even finish that sits flush with surrounding walls and architraves • Allow for correct curing/drying time (happy for this to be a multi-visit job if required) • Sand and finish ready for paint • Paint to blend with existing walls Important notes: • This is a visible area in the home — quality of finish matters • Experience working with older homes and uneven substrates is essential • Care required around existing trims, door frames, and flooring • Please do not quote if you’re planning a fast patch or temporary solution

We've stripped back the original plaster on two hallway walls due to rising damp and now need it replastered with a lime plaster. There are two sections (approx 180cm x 80cm (and 150cm x 85cm, with a corner section) to be done, ready for painting.
