Looking for a licensed electrician to install a 5kg ceiling fan in an apartment with an MF (Metal Furring) suspended plasterboard ceiling beneath a concrete slab. Provide quote. Key Requirements: Structural Anchoring: The fan must be securely anchored into the concrete slab above the plasterboard using appropriate masonry anchors. Support System: There is a ~20-30cm void between the slab and plasterboard. A suitable support solution is needed to ensure stability and prevent vibration against the plasterboard. Electrical Compliance: Must be a licensed electrician. Ensure all wiring is compliant with current standards and, if necessary, install a fan-rated junction box. Safety Clearances: Blades must maintain a minimum clearance of 2.1 metres from the floor and at least 300mm from the ceiling, as per Australian safety standards. Cieling hight is 2.45m (floor to plaster) Finish: The installation should be neat, with the fan canopy securely fitted against the plasterboard without gaps or rattling. I have 4 pieces of artwork I need hung. 2x sets of two. So they will need to be measured and hung symmetrically etc the walls are plasterboard so will need correct equipment to secure them.
