My elderly friend has a lot of mould and paint peeling in his bathroom (due to the upstairs neighbour letting her bath overflow years ago and him being too kind to ask her for money). The paint and area has now moulded and I’d like to help him sand it back and paint it with mould paint. The area is quite small and tight (approx 4m x 2m) with an inbuilt shower, sink, washing machine and toilet that can’t be moved. But a ladder will fit. In my bathroom, half the ceiling is always growing mould, even with a dehumidifier. I assume the affected area was not painted with anti-bacterial or mould resistant paint. I need someone to help remove the mould and apply sealant / mould resistant paint.
