I have a large L-shaped solid wood desk at home (West Pennant Hills, NSW). The table is joined using metal brackets and screws. During a recent move, I shifted it one corner at a time, and this has caused a visible gap between panels. One screw now cannot be tightened anymore. A heavy H2D 3D printer is currently placed on one side of the desk. While printing, the vibrations from the printer are shaking the entire table, even affecting my monitor at the other end. I’m concerned that over time this vibration could further loosen the joints and possibly cause structural failure. I’m looking for a professional furniture technician to inspect the joint, assess stability, and reinforce the structure—possibly by replacing or augmenting the connectors, re-tapping the loose screw hole, or using alternative reinforcement methods to ensure safety and weight-bearing reliability.

The door jamb are very solid as all walls including internal are block/brick. As the door core is particleboard, you must ensure to always drill appropriate pilot holes first. Painting not required (will be done later). Disposal of old doors not required, although you are welcome to offer if nominal fee.
