Find an experienced handyman in Vermont

I’m looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter to complete two small internal jobs: 1. Close existing doorway * Frame and plaster over an internal doorway * Finish ready for painting (no painting required) 2. Create new doorway (linen cupboard → laundry) * Cut opening through non-structural plaster wall * Modify/remove part of cupboard shelving as needed * Install door frame * Plaster and finish both sides ready for painting

Ceiling plaster repair – approx 50cm x 50cm hole. Leak has already been fixed by plumber and area will be fully dry before repair. Require: patch, sand, and repaint to blend with ceiling. Paint available. Looking for clean, smooth finish.

Our garage door can’t be opened automatically with the key — it can only be lifted manually. The motor is running, but it’s not able to move the door up or down. The brand is Steel Line, and the motor model is V430R. It’s a roll‑up style garage door.

There are three doors in my house with an issue. They can close, but the latch doesn’t line up with the strike plate hole, likely because the house has shifted over time.

Minor leak coming from ceiling as per picture, can see water drips from ceiling leaving a mark and to the floor. Installation of an internal cavity sliding door with lock where an existing sliding door with bulk head is positioned. Current images supplied with final door complete similar to image supplied. Door measurements: 2040 x 1070 Demolition - Remove existing Face of wall slider door, track, architraves and skirting - Remove plaster sheet from lounge side of wall Construction - Install timber lintel over door pocket opening, frame to suit new pocket door - Supply and install 1070 x 2040 Cavity sliding door pocket with semi-solid door - Hang and stop plaster to new door opening - Install 65mm single bevel architrave and skirting to match existing - Supply and Install new Cavity door lockable latch - Necessary fixtures installed should load bearing wall issues exist Location Vermont Victoria

Install 3 drop bolts. 2 on one door - top and bottom. 1 on another door at bottom. 3 bolts are with me, ready to go. Can work on cash.

The shower doors of both the bathrooms have hung and have created a gap which is now stuck in the bathroom floor. Needs to be fixed permanently, aligned and siliconed. Need certified trades person.
