The base of our laundry sink cabinet got wet from a past washing machine leak (leak now fixed). The particleboard has swollen a bit and the white marble-look vinyl top layer is cracked in several places. Need a neat repair so it looks fresh and close to new again. Preferred method: i) Clean up / remove loose cracked vinyl if easy ii) Supply & fit a new thin white panel (3–4 mm PVC, ACM or similar) glued neatly on top (or replace the base panel if you prefer) iii) Clean the whole area and re-fit the kickboard Ideally looking for someone who’s done this common cabinet repair before. Carefully remove nails, screws and fixings from the brick walls and window frames in a 1 bedroom apartment. You will need to have experience doing this task as cracking bricks is not preferable. You’ll need a drill, hammer, screw drivers and a dustpan and broom. I have a 3 step step ladder but if I’d have a medium height ladder this will help. It’s actually an easy job, just needs a little care. Should take 1 hour tops, if that. It is to prepare for the painter to do their base coat. The job is easy but I’d like it done with care. The photos are just a few of the spots that have these fixtures. They are sporadically around the apartment.
