I have a floating shelf that needs to be installed with threaded metal rod Tried installing myself but didn't have a long enough drill bit and the rods that came with the shelf bent so I had to buy a new rod. The new rod is 12mm thick but it is all one length so it will need to be cut into 2 smaller rods. The recommendation is for the holes in the wall to be 14mm and have a bead of liquid nails For someone with the right tools it should be a pretty quick job, photos attached

The base of our laundry sink cabinet got wet from a past washing machine leak (leak now fixed). The particleboard has swollen a bit and the white marble-look vinyl top layer is cracked in several places. Need a neat repair so it looks fresh and close to new again. Preferred method: i) Clean up / remove loose cracked vinyl if easy ii) Supply & fit a new thin white panel (3–4 mm PVC, ACM or similar) glued neatly on top (or replace the base panel if you prefer) iii) Clean the whole area and re-fit the kickboard Ideally looking for someone who’s done this common cabinet repair before. Hi, I’m looking for someone to install my sign. They are sign letters that need to be fixed to a backboard and then installed o to the front of a building. Also two more external lights need to be installed also.

I’m looking for a handyman/all-rounder with immediate availability to help finalise several small tasks in a renovation project. Jobs include hanging a door, installing wall panels, some timber cutting, and paint sealing. These are simple but varied tasks that I don’t have time to complete myself. Ideally, you must be free to start right away, as everything should be finished within a few days to a week at most. Thank you.

Carefully remove nails, screws and fixings from the brick walls and window frames in a 1 bedroom apartment. You will need to have experience doing this task as cracking bricks is not preferable. You’ll need a drill, hammer, screw drivers and a dustpan and broom. I have a 3 step step ladder but if I’d have a medium height ladder this will help. It’s actually an easy job, just needs a little care. Should take 1 hour tops, if that. It is to prepare for the painter to do their base coat. The job is easy but I’d like it done with care. The photos are just a few of the spots that have these fixtures. They are sporadically around the apartment.
