I have an internal black aluminium door that is slightly catching the ceiling in one of the top corners both horizontally and vertically which is preventing it from closing properly. Will need someone who has experience with aluminium doors. Also the height of the door is quite high - around 3m so please bring a ladder

There is a straight crack running horizontal to our outdoor wall (double brick and rendered) Hoping to get it cosmetically patched up as close to the same rendered wall colour and texture as possible. I do not have the paint so you will need to source that once onsite. It’s about 5m long in length.

Hi, I'm hoping you can assist me. I can hear my upstairs and next door neighbour's heavy footsteps. I can't believe that the impact noise travels for a 2017 building. The bedroom ceiling is a dropped plaster ceiling sitting below concrete slab of floor above. There is a small cavity between plaster and concrete. Bedroom walls are a mix of plaster and masonry. Strata have asked for a quote before approving any soundproofing amendments. Would you be able to provide a quote (via visit would be preferred) for soundproofing the ceiling and the wall adjoining my neighbour? Please Note: my concern is the impact of footsteps and other impact noises such as closing cupboards and such. Voices and music, etc., does not penetrate the ceiling/walls. Thanks! Regards, Joy

I am planning to get Illume LED light, but would prefer it to look like a real skylight, so want to have a recess built into the ceiling for it. Cut out for the LED alternative skylight, gyprock, set and sand and paint to match existing ceiling I have dropped ceiling, 300mm worth of clearance and power connection in that spot. I’ve been told it’s a very easy ceiling to work on. First photos the ceiling, last photos examples of effect I want to end up with.

Two little handy man jobs- 1- Apply a privacy film to the nursery window, it’s just stick on but needs to be cut to size and applied (may need a small ladder to reach top) 2- Attach heavy mirror to the wall so it’s safe, there are two hook attachment places at the back of the mirror. It doesn’t need to be “stuck” onto the wall it just needs to be held to the wall to stop it falling

Hello! 👋🏼 I have a few general tasks around the house that I would love some assistance with. 1. Dishwasher fixture: The dishwasher works perfectly aside from it tipping forward out of the inbuilt cabinetry when the door is open. 2. Shower grouting: The primary showers grout has cracked and come away over the years. It needs re grouting so that the surface is even again. 3. Hook installation: I have a wooden hook I’d like to install next to the front door into the gyprock. Not sure if there’s a stud in the wall or not or if a stud is needed. Will need advice on this. 4. Tap fixtures: The tap handles keep falling off in the bathrooms. In total 4 taps that need repairing. It’s a faulty design I think! 5. Toilet flush: This is a bonus task not sure if I need a plumber for this. There’s an in wall cistern and the full flush has stopped working. We would like to replace our current single towel rail with a double towel rail (already purchased). Should be relatively simple for someone experienced, we just have no experience drilling into bathroom tile and are concerned about cracking the tile. Old towel rail bracket had vertical holes, while the new one has horizontal holes (see photos). So the main part of the job is drilling 2 new holes to fit the horizontal bracket, then filling the leftover vertical holes if possible/if needed. Location is in Gladesville (Sydney). Date would need to be a Wednesday or a weekend.

I require a new outdoor door to be installed to replace an existing door that has rotten, which leads to a garage storage room. The door is mini sized door and approximately 735 mm x 1350 mm. We will require a lock to be installed. You can re use vent on existing door to place on the new door. Green skin outdoor door is fine. We can paint at a later stage.
