I’ve just removed a brick fireplace and need someone stronger than me to get the hearth bricks out and cut a piece of ply (we have) to size. There is also a tub of bricks I need disposed of. Having taken a small piece out, it would be be removed by making a cut down the side / using a demo or brick saw and knocking out. We do not have the tools. Old security grille. It has something that looked like Allen key screws, but none would fit. I tried screw through a couple to remove , but made a bit of a mess of it. Unsure how to get it off. There are about 18 screws (or rivets) holding it on to a wooden window. I don't need to keep grille, so it can be rough.
