Find an experienced gas fitter in Northcote

Neighbours and I thought we smelled gas on the street so called the gas service. When pressure testing my meter he found a super slow permissible leak. Said that it was negligible and a plumber would just leave it but because he was the authority he had to turn it off. Should be a 5-10min job. Would love to get a plumber to come uncap the metre and turn the gas back on without it costing a fortune.

Pilot light won’t stay on after you release the button. Had a plumber replace the thermocouple with no success, took $400 and nothing has been fixed

One of our wok burner has a problem with its pilot, after turning on momentarily it will turn off on its own. Not sure if there’s a gas leak, but unlikely as there’s no smell.

Initial safety and compliance tests have been undertaken for Gas, Electricity and smoke detector. Biennial checks needed for gas and electrical compliance and annual check for the smoke detector. Only gas appliance is the stove.
