$50 for initial site visit. We need a regular gardener for longterm care of our low maintenance front yard and side yard. We just finished our modern landscaping. There in no lawn as the ground is almost fully covered in white pebbles and basalt rocks. Rest of ground is covered in black mulch. There are 18 buxus balls with 60cm diameters, 8 recently planted advanced trees (baby gum, japanese maple, crepe myrtle, forest pansy), 5 loropetalum shrub and 5 star jasmine. Irrigation is in place and working. There are some decorative structures including a water feature. The fence is very short and the front gate is not locked i.e. always accessible. I need a gardener on a regular basis, who knows different plants and their care needs re watering, fertiliser, pruning. We want these plants to become established and grow well. The front yard looks really neat and nice and the idea is to maintain this look, keep areas clean of debris and leaves, and help plants become more advanced. There is no need for any immediate physical work right now. But you will be needed to come in every few weeks to do the necessary and ensure everything is right. I am happy to pay $50 to the winning offer to come on site for further discussion and initial planning. If you respond to this, please include your general rates for this type of work. The jasmine bush needs a good prune. As you can see I’ve attempted the front part, as it was really out of control, but the rest needs doing. The rest includes the top and the other side I haven’t done. I suspect the side I have done, probably needs a tidy up by someone that knows what they’re doing. Giving the tree a good fertiliser is likely in order as well. I guess - but I’m not an expert- as you can see from my attempt - the job will take up to 2 hours. If you have a Ute and can dispose the cuttings, that’s great, but not essential. I have a small green bin and can week by week dispose of the cuttings through the weekly rubbish collection.
