We have creaking floorboards in 2 small rooms in our home in northcote which we are prepping for sale. I believe this has been fixed previously by a carpenter doing some work in the crawl space under the house. The rooms have carpet which we are replacing in a month so no issues with lifting carpet if needed. (If this is the case we would need to delay work to after 4 march). We are not sure what is involved with this repair. Some advice would be helpful. Work would need to be done on a wednesday. Thank you

I’m looking for an experienced flooring or handyman professional to repair a scratch in the floorboards in one bedroom. The room is approximately 4.0 x 3.9 metres, however the damage is fairly localised to one area (see photos). The scratch is moderate in size but not spread across the whole room. Floor appears to be timber or timber-look flooring. I’m hoping for a neat, professional repair that blends in as much as possible with the existing floor. We have hybrid flooring in our townhouse and a few tongues have slipped out of their grooves. We have 5 spare boards that we want to replace the worst spots with. It would be removing trim, replacing the damaged boards and then replacing the trim. The townhouse is pretty narrow, so none of the boards that need to be replaced would be more than 50cm away from a wall.

Im in an apartment on the first floor (one floor up) and have nice wooden flooring floating above the shop below. There is a corner of my apartment where the flooring sinks down a little bit. Approx 3mm. Need someone who knows what theyre doing to come and take a look to see if a shim can be inserted under the flooring to raise this section to level.
