What we need: Someone to assess, source a suitable ground spike or stake from Bunnings (nearby), and install the gate so it opens and closes securely. No concreting, no panels, no major earthworks. Goal: Keep a dog contained. Function over form — doesn’t need to look perfect. Budget is $200 all-inclusive (your time + any hardware). Happy to discuss if you have a smart, cost-effective approach. Pool fence hinge stopped working - spring tension is gone. Needs new hinge and realigning

Repair fence and repair gate

Build a new tubular steel fence, 1.5m high all around. Total 30m of fencing required. This is a corner block so I will need a council REPORT AND CONSENT (REG 92) application submitted to council as I want fence to be at least 1.5m high all around. Fence shall include a remote control automatic sliding gate across the driveway and an additional manual pedestrian gate. Fence style to be Oxley Ring and Spear. Looking for an experienced handyman to repair sections of my small timber paling fence and remove an old clothesline. Including: - Straighten leaning timber palings and reduce gaps so fence is secure - Re-secure loose palings to rails - trim new plank to cover one with hole - Remove and dispose existing clothesline All fixings (nails, screws etc.) to be supplied by tasker.

Up to a dozen vertical support posts of our timber fence are no longer holding up the fence. The base of the posts seems to have worn through. The fence is now only standing because it leans against our brick wall and clothes line. The rest of the fence (e.g. pailings) is in good condition.

The fence came down few days back due to winds. Will need to fix a stump and then fix the fence. Photos for reference.
