Hi, I live in Butler, WA 6036. I’m looking for an experienced Colorbond fencing contractor for the following work: 1. Fence Repairs * There are 8 damaged Colorbond fence sheets in different sections of the fence. * Some have minor dents, while others are more noticeably bent. * The damage was mainly caused by my dogs repeatedly bumping into the fence. * The fence doesn’t noticeably wobble, but some sections appear slightly out of alignment. * I would prefer to repair and straighten the existing fence sheets wherever possible. * However, if any sheets are badly damaged, difficult to repair, or unlikely to look good after straightening, I’m happy to consider replacing those sheets with new ones. * Please also check the posts and rails for any looseness or damage as part of the repair work. 2. Install a New Gate * Convert part of the existing Colorbond fence into a gate approximately 1 metre wide. * Reuse existing fence materials where practical. * Install a suitable gate frame, hinges and secure latch or lock. * As the gate faces a publicly accessible area, I would prefer the locking mechanism to be accessible from inside the property. * A standard Colorbond gate is fine. It doesn’t need to be a concealed gate. 3. Quotation Please provide a quote based on the description and attached photos, including labour and necessary materials. If you recommend replacing any fence sheets instead of repairing them, please explain which ones and include the replacement costs in your quote. Please let me know if any details need clarification. Repair loose bottom timber plinth on fence. Looking for an experienced fencing handyman or carpenter to repair the bottom timber plinth board on one section of my fence. The board has come out of position, and a small timber support has also become dislodged. Photos attached. Please reuse the existing timber, reposition and securely refix the board, and replace the support as required. Use suitable galvanised outdoor fixings and check that the repaired section is solid.

Replace ~5 rotted fence posts (shared boundary fence) Description: I need help restoring a section of boundary fence shared with my neighbour. About five posts have rotted at the base after sitting in waterlogged clay soil, and the fence fell over in recent winds. The job: Straighten the fence back to the original boundary line Either replace the damaged wooden posts, or attach new steel posts alongside the existing ones, whichever you recommend as the better, longer-lasting fix in clay soil Notes: My neighbour and I are both keen to get this done as soon as possible Please include in your quote whether materials (posts, concrete, fixings) are included, and whether you'll remove any old posts and debris Photos attached show the current damage If you've done similar repairs, I'd welcome your suggestions on the best approach for the soil conditions.

Repair timber fence – Pascoe Vale Looking for someone experienced with fencing to repair our existing timber fence. Several sections have become unstable and are leaning, with some damaged/split posts, rails and loose fixings (see photos). Ideally looking to repair and strengthen the existing fence rather than replace the whole thing, including replacing any posts/rails that are beyond repair and securing the fence so it is straight, strong and safe. Please include whether materials and removal of damaged timber are included in your offer.

Glass panels are all slowly coming undone and wonkey as ground has moved and posts done align with glass any more. I have had a few panels done with additional spigot support but I want the lot done now: removing the posts and replace with spigots. 10-12 panels need spigots, depending on what’s possible on either end (might need to leave some posts in, especially with the door): I have sourced spigots already. Scope of task: - assess and recommend best way forward with the end and door panels - remove and replace posts with spigots: 10-12 panels - supply tools: to drill holes into tiles without wrecking them - other bits and bobs needed: bolts etc - remove posts from premises: dump run etc Location is Ipswich central. Looking for someone experienced with timber paling fences to repair an existing boundary fence. The fence is generally usable but has several damaged/leaning sections and the gate needs repair/re-alignment. Scope of work Remove and dispose of 2 existing decayed rails Remove any loose/old nails Supply and install 2 × 90 × 35 mm timber rails, approximately 2.5 m long each Reattach/nail the existing fence palings securely to the new rails Leave the area neat and tidy after completion No fence posts or palings need replacing — they are in good condition.
