Hi, I’m looking for a electrician to check and repair my home’s power issue. After a planned power outage in my area (Ringwood North) on Wednesday 11 June, suddenly half of the power points in my house stopped working. The lights are still working, but several outlets are completely dead. I’ve already checked the switchboard — there are no tripped switches. I also tried turning the main switch off and on again, but it didn’t help. I called AusNet, and they confirmed that everything is fine on their end and advised me to get an electrician to check my internal wiring or circuits. We have seven new ceiling light fixtures to replace old light fixtures. The old fixtures include batten and hanging pendants. The new light fixtures include ceiling mounted and two handing pendants.

One of my downlights is flickering and I need someone to come and take a look. Likely just needs a new bulb or fitting replacement, but I need someone to diagnose the issue and fix it on the spot if possible. Details: Ceiling downlight in living area.
