When someone removed the original light fitting to replace a lightbulb, they discovered that the small part which secured the covering to the bathroom roof was rusted. This made re-fitting the heavy glass (approx. 750 g) covering impossible. I need someone to find a solution to re-fit it. I will include images of the part, etc.

Power socket behind microwave stops working at random. Thought it was microwave issue; bought new microwave; the issue persisted. New microwave (Panasonic NN-ST75LB) now shows error ‘H97’. Issue is with this socket (and/or its wiring) not the microwave.
