Hello, We are looking for a licensed QLD Electrician to attend our retail store, on Albert St (Brisbane CBD), to replace three faulty ceiling downlights. The Issue: Three recessed LED downlights on our main sales floor have failed (flickered and went out completely). This is affecting the lighting on our sales floor, making some display areas dim. The Job: The task is to replace the three faulty LED downlights. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the light fittings in the high ceiling (a suitable ladder is required - Approximate ceiling height: 3 meters). 2. Removing the three faulty downlight units. 3. Supplying and installing three (3) new, suitable replacement recessed LED downlights and drivers. 4. Ensuring the new lights' colour temperature (warm white) and brightness match the existing lights in the store. 5. Testing the new lights to confirm they are secure and fully operational. Please note: The successful contractor MUST supply the three new compatible replacement downlight fittings and drivers. The cost for this hardware must be included in your final offer. Requirements: - MUST be a fully licensed and insured QLD Electrician. - You must have your own tools, including an A-frame ladder appropriate for a high commercial ceiling. - Experience with commercial lighting systems. It’s a single-storey standalone house in Mermaid Waters, with access through the ceiling/roof space as required. Scope: 1. Cut 4 x 90mm ceiling holes 2. Wire and install sockets/downlight points for 4 Philips Hue downlights 3. Remove existing ceiling fan 4. Install a LIFX SuperColour Ceiling Light Model: 38cm White Trim I already have the lights. Need someone who can supply any required electrical fittings, cable, sockets, connectors, etc, unless you prefer I buy them first. Because this is a kids bedroom, I need the room properly protected before work starts — bedding, flooring, etc — and fully cleaned up afterwards, including dust and debris from cutting the ceiling holes. This ceiling wiring needs to be brought up to date as it currently outputs a female “SM 2 Pin Plug”. The replacement Downlight pictured connects to a power outlet, so assuming the wiring needs to be updated to a power outlet.
