Following NBN’s conduit installation guidelines, cut concrete, excavate and install a communications conduit, and backfill for a new build house in Enoggera. Scope of work: - Saw cut and remove approximately 1m length of concrete footpath adjacent to the house, approximately 200mm wide, straight cuts with clean edges, no jackhammer-only rough edges - Remove and dispose of concrete - Excavate trench (300mm deep) in the lawn (approx. 4m length) from the property boundary (as shown on photo) to the house external wall (directly below PCD location) - Provide ~50mm sand bedding under conduit - Supply and install heavy-duty orange communications 25mm conduit - Supply and install a draw string throughout the conduit - Install long sweep bends only (no sharp elbows) - Backfill trench appropriately after installation (except 300mm from both ends) - No need to reinstate concrete Specifications (must comply): - Minimum conduit size: 25mm - Minimum trench depth: 300mm - Minimum 50mm sand bedding under conduit - Backfill with clean fill/sand (no sharp rocks in contact with conduit) - Work must comply with NBN Co guidelines Prior to fund release, photo evidence is mandatory: - Entire open trench (before backfilling) - Conduit placement and bedding - Both ends of the conduit - Depth clearly shown (with tape measure) - Concrete cut

I have just had an NBN technician attend my property that I’ve just moved into as we are wanting to get connected. When the technician attended, he advised that the existing Telstra box where the connection comes to is on the opposite side of the house to where the preferred location for the NBN would be. He mentioned that the roof space would be too small for him to fit up there to feed the connection through to the preferred location and has advised hiring a sparky. What was advised is to feed a conduit through the roof (on top of the roof by taking off the tiles to create the path to go) from the existing Telstra box to the new desired location. Additionally, I have been advised that when the NBN tech re-attends, he will need to still pull through some cables, so don’t use sharp bends, if possible, but use bigger bends/sweepers. I have also attached a photo of the house plans (blue X is desired location, red X is current Telstra box) and some photos of the location of the existing Telstra box, the roof space/tile area, and the desired location. I am hoping that with these pictures and understanding of what is needed that there can be a rough cost of how much this would be.

Looking for an electrician to install a double power point near an existing phone socket so I can plug in my NBN modem/router. Details: • Phone socket is on an internal wall in kitchen/hallway area • Ideally install a double power point directly below the phone socket • Power may be available on the other side of the wall (cupboard) or nearby kitchen circuit • Standard plaster wall with cavity The job should involve: • Running cable from nearby power source • Cutting and installing a double GPO Flexible on timing but would love it done this week if possible.

I need a approx 20m trench dug for an NBN conduit to the house. Needs to be 400mm deep the whole way. Would be an easy job for someone with a trencher. Send me offers, not sure of costs.

To be on the safe side opting for 2 meter move. For the NBN box happy for trunking to be over wall for power socket looking for it to bedone in cavity. Old socket point will need plated up eiyhet with cover plate or plaster board fill. Reckon a cover plate will be cheaper and easier.

I require cabling from the external Telstra box to the lounge room for FTTP setup. I’ve been provided 30m of cable by NBN. They were unable to provide the service as they require standing space in the ceiling. Approximately less than 10m straight line distance on the ceiling from Telstra box to lounge. There is sufficient space in general as we just had our ducted air conditioner system + ducting replaced in January 2025 without issues.

I have FTTP NBN with the NBN fibre box (NTD) located in the garage. Currently, my router connects via ethernet to a data point downstairs (study). I want to keep this existing downstairs connection and add a second Cat6 ethernet point upstairs so I can relocate the router out of a new nursery. Relocate NBN Point From Lounge room to Study and install additional Data points

We need an internal nbn box moved 4 meters up the wall as we plan to install a barn door and it’s in the path.

The box on the left is the NBN HFC connection box. It needs to move to the right of the downspout, to make space for a solar battery. The box already on the right is the old cooler phone line box. The existing cables are long enough, but will only fit behind the down spout with the connector cut off. Have the compression tools and connectors to join on new PPC EX6XL NBN HFC connectors.

NBN cable is in the roof of my yoga studio and nerds to be relocated so the ntd and modem can be plugged in near a power point. It is quite long so allows some leeway. Hopefully install a cable wall plate so it’s tidy?
