I’m looking for an experienced PC technician to diagnose and fix a CPU overheating issue, as well as perform a general hardware health check and performance optimisation of my gaming/work PC. PC Specifications: CPU: Intel Core i5-14600KF GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti Motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z790-P WIFI RAM: 32GB DDR5-6000 Cooling: Thermaltake AIO liquid cooler (recently replaced) OS: Windows 11 Main Issue — CPU Overheating During OCCT stress testing, my CPU rapidly reached 100°C and remained there, despite drawing only approximately 87W. CPU Package temperature was also around 70°C while sitting in BIOS. The liquid cooler pump reports approximately 3,154 RPM, and the fans appear to be operating normally. I’d like someone to investigate and resolve the overheating issue, including checking the cooler installation, mounting pressure, thermal paste, pump operation and radiator performance. Additional Work — General PC Optimisation I’d also like a general inspection and performance tune-up, including: Checking overall hardware health, temperatures and airflow. Updating the motherboard BIOS to the latest appropriate stable version. Reviewing CPU power, voltage and BIOS settings for safe, optimal performance. Checking that RAM, GPU and other hardware are performing as expected. Identifying any remaining performance bottlenecks. Running appropriate stability and performance tests after resolving the cooling issue. I’ve already completed a Windows cleanup, updated graphics and chipset-related drivers, enabled XMP, and optimised startup applications and gaming settings. Goal I’d like the PC running as fast, cool, stable and efficiently as reasonably possible for gaming and Unreal Engine development. Ideally looking for someone experienced with custom gaming PCs, Intel 14th-generation processors and AIO liquid cooling. Please bring any tools and thermal paste required for diagnosis and basic servicing. Let me know if replacement parts are needed before proceeding.
