Find a reliable computer and IT professional in Marrickville

Budget: $650 (negotiable depending on experience and recovery requirements) Looking for an experienced data recovery specialist to recover files from my WD My Passport external hard drive. The drive powers on and makes mechanical noises, but is no longer recognised by Windows or Disk Management. I've already taken it to a professional data recovery company who diagnosed a faulty read/write head and quoted $1,200 for recovery. The drive contains important video footage and editing project files from a film production that cannot easily be replaced. I'm seeking a more affordable quote from someone with genuine experience recovering mechanically damaged hard drives. Requirements: Experience with WD My Passport mechanical hard drives Proper clean-room facilities and equipment for head replacement Ability to recover large video files and editing projects Clear explanation of recovery likelihood and costs Transparent pricing, including any upfront fees Preference for payment upon successful recovery Happy to drop off the hard drive anywhere around Sydney. Please provide details of your experience, recovery process, facilities and estimated total cost. Please only respond if you have professional mechanical HDD recovery experience. I'm not looking for standard recovery software or troubleshooting.

We have a website store for our cakes on Woo Commerce called Cakevan.com.au and would like to convert it to shopify The reason I have requested in person is to make sure this isn’t done overseas and the person can get a good understanding of how the business works. I will not deal with anyone who cannot come on site. We have around 200 products and 20 or so pages that need converting. We may also choose a different design to the current.

I have a couple of processes based on excel that I’d like to automate. This is a 4 hour gig and a trial with the person to see if we can work on other similar excel improvement tasks. They currently work like this but they arent truly user-friendly. One is an export of credits and debits from a bank statement for an airbnb. We paste the data to a multi year data list, we use filters to allocate the rows to expense categories from a validated list then refreshes a pivot table. Another (4 columns and max 16 rows) needs to create a csv from a lookup and validated list of leave categories. Another xls drives from an export of working time which i want to work out a way to summarise and import into Xero bookkeeping to create Sales invoices.

Happy to chat through in advance for clarification if you need to work out a quote. At home two days in the week, plus evenings & weekends. Thanks! Adrian
