Please help $50 cash Everything is connected and the old phone adaptor connection is plugged on the wall . The NBN is not connecting and Tangerine has not sent a NBN technician for 3 weeks. They were booked in , but never showed up twice. I desperately need the internet connection done on the 24/12. Anytime . Just please come and connect it. $180

After a random overnight restart, laptop fails to recognise wi-fi adapter even though it shows up in CMD. It just fails to connect and refused to be enabled via any command line or even manual tweaking. WiFi option to toggle does not even show up. I have resorted to a hard factory reset with a new windows 11 install and weirdly appeared during windows 11 install but soon after sleeping the computer for dinner - turning it back on after, WiFi option vanished again and back in same predicament. Curious whether this could be a hardware issue - I just want to avoid buying a new computer at this current time unless the fix will be dear.

Hello, I'm looking into getting WiFi via byo modem and then connecting to a plan but I need to know what router to get first. I'm looking for advice only ATM as to which modem I can use , I have an nbn box from previous Internet but not sure what modem I need, nbn available at my address is hfc. I don't want to spend a lot on the router but aiming for a plan of 250 dl and 23 upload as I want to use it for gaming. Dual band? Mesh? I will likely need a router with long range or extender or mesh as it will need to reach outside but not sure on square footage of my home. Pics and advice would be appreciated. Once I know what to buy I can then hire someone to help me install. I'd like it done asap as I need wifi.
