Job summary: - Replacing 5 floor joists so they run the full span rather than stopping short at the internal wall. - Install 1x 2/ 200 x 63 3.6m lvl beams runnings across the floor joists. With a 3/ 90 x 45 lvl post, then another 2/ 200 x 63 3.3m for the extra run of floor joists. Then another 3/90 x 45 post at the end. - All floor joists need to be joist hung to the 2 beams. I need our timber decking and fence cleaned and then stained with 2 coats. Per the photos the deck has a built in bench and fence. With the perimeter fence only the outward facing side needs doing. The timber for both is Merbau decking and to be stained with Merbau stain. I can provide the cleaner and stain, or I can reimburse for the cost. I’ll move everything off the deck. The Issue: Several layers of our custom wall-mounted shelving units have started to pull away from the wall. This is a significant safety concern as we are worried about their stability and the risk of collapse. The shelves appear to be glued and possibly screwed to the wall, and some of these connections have failed. The Job: This is primarily an "inspect and secure" job. The scope of work includes: 1. Attending the site to thoroughly assess the structure and stability of the entire wall shelving unit. 2. Identifying all the points where the shelves have detached from the wall. 3. Supplying and installing small, discreet L-brackets underneath the affected shelves to securely re-fasten them to the wall. 4. Ensuring the installed brackets are strong, neatly fitted, and provide robust support to prevent any further movement. 5. Leaving the area clean and tidy. The primary goal is to make the shelving safe and secure.
