Looking for an experienced window repairer to quote on restoration of one awning (push-out) aluminum frame window at my home. Please supply all parts. What needs doing: Fly screen mesh has come away from the frame at the bottom-right corner and is torn. Re-mesh or replace the screen, fitted properly and cleaned up. Screen/window frame – aluminium frame needs checking, cleaning and any loose or damaged sections fixed so the screen sits flush. Winder – the window winder/handle at the base needs inspecting and repairing or replacing so the window opens and closes smoothly. How I'd like to run it: Stage 1 – $50 for an on-site inspection and a quote for the full restoration, including all parts and labour. Stage 2 – if I proceed with your quote, the $50 is credited towards the total price. Availability: I work from home, so weekdays are easiest for both the inspection and the repair. Remove old awning and replace with new one

I need an experienced window repairer/handyman to inspect and fix 2 awning window with a winder mechanism that has similar problem. And both of them are on the second floor for a townhouse. The window does not close completely. When winding it shut, the bottom of the window appears to get stuck against the bottom frame instead of seating fully into the closed position. There is no obvious dirt or debris causing the issue. It may be related to: Window sash alignment or sagging Window hinge/stay mechanism binding or needing adjustment Please inspect the window, identify the cause, and repair or adjust it so the window can close and seal properly. Photos are attached showing the window and the area where it appears to catch. Please provide a quote including labour and any likely parts required. Experienced window repairers preferred.

My awning has a remote and motor. Since last few daya its not working. I tried replacing batter but no success. Need to fix this.

Looking for someone to reinforce the welds on 4 steel awning mounting brackets. The brackets are approx. 5mm thick x 150mm long powder-coated steel.The two sections of each bracket are currently joined with only small/sparing welds near the ends,where i would like to get it replaced with a stronger, more substantial weld applied to make them stronger.Powder coating around the weld area can be removed as required. I can bring the brackets to a workshop if close by.

Hi! One of the locking pegs (mushroom pins) on my awning window frame has sheared off. Details: Hardware Brand: Kin Long window system (aluminum frame). The Issue: The pin snapped off, leaving the rivet/fastener base stuck in the track. What's Needed: Drill out/remove the broken fastener shaft and supply/install a replacement peg/pin to match the existing one (photos attached). Parts: I do NOT have replacement parts. Tasker must supply the replacement pin/screw/rivet. I have attached photos of the intact pin for reference, the broken base, and the overall window setup.

Need a painter to paint over awning facia and sides. Colour is Monument. I think it would need two coats. Need it done on Sunday 16th August so not many cars and people about to get in the way. I think it's just a morning's work and the paint job only needs to last 2 months.

Need an awing installed at rear of property

Looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter to install a Canopia Sophia awning (1.6m x 0.9m) over my rear door entrance. Awning materials & assembly instructions are supplied in kit. Will need to bring own tools & appropriate heavy duty timber screws, washers & weatherproof sealer. The awning will be attached to 50mm (approx) thick timber, which sits behind grey mini orb cladding. Happy for the awning brackets to be neatly pre-drilled and mounted using standard spacer sleeves/washers to keep the mini orb flat.

Our motorised folding arm awning is not retracting as it should, and we have been advised it’s likely because the motion sensor batteries need replacing. We require someone with a ladder and tools to locate the awning’s motion sensor/s and replace the batteries (3x AAA batteries, provided). Instructions included in the photos section. Would prefer someone with experience in servicing motorised awnings in case other repairs may be necessary.
