We need an experienced window/glazier or handyman with aluminium window experience to modify an existing awning window so the handle section is raised 550 mm higher to sit above the height of the new kitchen corner/bench. The job is likely to involve: • Assessing the existing awning window frame and sash. • Cutting down or modifying the lower section of the opening/sash as required. • Raising the handle/locking position by approximately 550 mm. • Supplying and installing a suitable fixed infill panel to cover the removed section. • Ensuring the finished result is neat, weatherproof, and matches the existing window as closely as possible. • Sealing/flashings to maintain water resistance and finish. We are looking for someone who can recommend the best method on site before starting, as the exact approach may depend on the window system. Screws have fallen off the awning window frame. Need to glue some hardwood and drill the screws back in to refit hinge

Hi there, I’m looking for someone to repair my outdoor awning. One side of the awning has dropped down — it seems like a bolt or joint has come loose, as the awning tilts when it’s opened. I have 2 aluminium slat awnings I need installed in my courtyard. The awning’s motor appears to be functioning correctly. However there is something faulty with the sensor(s) as the awning will retract randomly when in the open position. I’ve replaced the batteries for the somfy wind sensor, however this didn’t fix the problem. The same sensor appears to have some internal corrosion of circuitry which could be causing the issue. We need someone experienced to check the whole system and provide a fix

Glass awning window and the top pop rivets x 2 have broken off the frame. Glass window is intact.
