Someone unqualified tried to put a plug on the end of an oven cord that was originally hard wired in the wall cavity. They also placed a power outlet for it, but I’d like the cord replaced properly and the power outlet rewired by a qual’d sparky. I have an Omega brand Heater and evaporator cooler unit at my house. Fairly new under 5 years old. Currently what’s happening is when the heater temperature is set to let’s say 20 degrees. Initially the heater works on start and bring the temperature to 20 degrees. Later when the room temperature drops let’s say to 17 degrees the heater does not start automatically. Even though the heater is on and set to 20 degrees, it does not work for the temperature drop and restart automatically when needed. We have to manually off and on the heater to make it start again. This is only happening with heater unit and the evaporator cooler no issues. Both units are controlled by the same controller.
