Hire a professional washing machine repair service in VIC

Looking for someone handy with washing machines to reseat the rubber door gasket/seal on my front-loader and refit the metal retaining spring. Some washing became caught in the door seal during a cycle and pulled the gasket out of position. The machine still powers on, and neither the rubber seal nor retaining spring appears damaged.

I’m looking for someone experienced with washing machine repairs to replace the front door boot gasket/seal on my Bosch front-loading washing machine, model WAU28490AU. I have already purchased the replacement gasket/seal, so this task is for labour/install only. The washing machine is installed under a bench, so the job will involve: Pulling/moving the washing machine out from under the bench Disconnecting the washing machine from the water supply, drain and power as required Removing the existing damaged/worn door gasket Installing the replacement gasket correctly Reattaching the retaining rings/clamps and any components removed for access Reconnecting the washing machine Returning the machine to its position under the bench Running/checking the machine afterwards to confirm the seal is fitted correctly and there are no leaks Please only offer if you have experience repairing front-loading washing machines, preferably Bosch machines, and are comfortable disconnecting and reconnecting the appliance. Please bring all necessary tools. Budget: $150 – labour only, replacement seal supplied
