Find a reliable appliance technician in Brisbane

2021 we bought a recliner chair while our son was in Germany (during Covid). It took a couple of years to reach Australia while it sat unused in packaging; then we only started using it when we retired to Brisbane Feb 2025. In February 2026, the chair suddenly stopped working. The power-box attached to the power-point shone green, but the mechanism just stopped silently.. Dead. As the warranty has now expired and the usual recliner chair repair-shops aren't familiar with the brand (Himolla), no-one locally is able to fix the problem. The Himolla reps in Australia gave us a $600 quote to replace the motor; but they haven't been able to look at the actual chair to see if that is the problem. I only have photos that are Adobe Acrobat and do not know how to change the format to upload the photos. The brand and item # is https://www.himolla.com/au/chairs/chair/cumurex-7916.html. The mechanism/ remote etc is barely used. I can load photos onto an email. What we are looking for is a tradesman to test and let us know what is wrong and/or possible fix the chair. Tredmil stopped when my son was running on it and electricity tripped. want it to be seen to find and fix fault,

I need help installing a washing machine in my laundry. The machine is already in position and connected to the power point. I just need someone to: • Connect the water inlet hose to the tap • Connect and secure the drain hose • Level the washing machine properly (adjust feet to prevent movement) • Carefully move the machine back into position against the wall • Do a quick test run to ensure there are no leaks and everything is working correctly Notes: • All hoses are available • No drilling or complex work required • Should be a quick 20–30 min job for someone experienced

Fisher and Paykel Not draining. Checked obvious - filter and sink hose and recycled etc etc.

Looking for someone experienced with plumbing to remove and dispose of an old dishwasher and install a new one. We attempted to have this done today, however the installer from appliances online advised that a plumber or experienced tradesperson is required, as there are loose pipes that aren’t attached to the wall and as such he wasn’t permitted to fuss around with them. He also wasn’t allowed to turn the water mains off to help facilitate this process. The new dishwasher is already onsite and ready to be installed. I’m after someone who can: * Safely disconnect and remove the old dishwasher * Dispose of the old unit * Properly connect the plumbing * Install the new dishwasher professionally Ideally looking to have this completed today as I’m working from home.
